Como Italy

Como is located in Lombardy, Italy, 45 kilometres (28 mi) north of Milan. Situated at the southern tip of the south-west arm of Lake Como, it is the capital of the province of Como and directly borders the Swiss town of Chiasso

Bellagio Italy

Bellagio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located on Lake Como. It has long been famous for its setting at the intersection of the three branches of the Y-shaped lake, which is also known as Lario. Bellagio is situated at the tip of the peninsula separating the lake's two southern arms, with the Alps visible across the lake to the north.

Fasnacht in Switzerland

Reaching the end of winter, it's time for carnival or Fasnacht in many towns of usually Catholic cantons. Carnival in Switzerland is mainly constituted of parades, amazing costumes with masks and talented musicians. The Swiss population take the carnival very seriously and it is told that some carnival groups practice the whole year long to give the very best of themselves. This celebration is repeated in a different town every weekend, some companies completely shut down to participate in these parades and the drinking is continual.
