Arosa is a municipality in the district of Plessur in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It is known for being both a summer and a winter resort

Arosa is situated at the end of the Schanfigg valley at a height of 1,742 to 1,900 m above sea level.

Ruinaulta

Ruinaulta is a canyon on the Vorderrhein just upstream of the Hinter Rhine at Reichenau, Eastern Switzerland. It is sometimes known as the Rhine Canyon, or Swiss Grand Canyon. Protected by cliffs several hundred metres high, the area is forested and a haven for wildlife. It is easily accessible only by the Ruinaulta line of Rhaetian Railways, and is a popular location for rafting.

Saint Martin and the Gigerwaldsee

This is my second trip up to St. Martin. This area is only accessable in the summertime and an area that most people dont travel to. It is basically a dead end road with a restaurant, church and a few cabins. The mountains in this area are some of the most beautiful in all Switzerland. The Gigerwald Dam

Lugano Switzerland

Lugano is a town of 60,000 people located in the very southern, Italian speaking region of Switzerland. This is a very populated area in the summertime, many tourists visit here each year. This area is in the canton of Ticino and one of the most beautiful areas in the world, sometimes called the Monte Carlo of Switzerland and the 9th largest city.

You can take the funicular (built in 1912)up to the top of Mount Bre. the views on a clear day are amazing. From there, you can see the Pennine and Bernese Alps

Stein Am Rhein Switzerland

Stein Am Rhein (Stone on the River) is one of the oldest towns in Switzerland in the Schaffhausen area. The town has a well preserved Mediaeval centre and still retains the ancient street plan. Most of the buildings are painted with beautiful frescoes, next to Germany, it was one of the cities in this area that was bombed in the war.
